Though it doesn’t feel like Spring just yet in Vancouver, we tucked into Onyx Aesthetics during CND Nail’s Spring Collection preview event last week.
This edition featured colours inspired by the tropical Carribean. Initially I was aiming to go with a Palm Deco and Sugar Cane Ombre. I’ll try that at home when I’m in my ombre dress again with the VINYLUX editions of these greens in their latest collection.
Ryoko designed my shellac nails with geometric ornaments featuring all of the colours from the Rhythm and Heat Collection.
- Mambo Beat (orange-red)
- Sugarcane (light green)
- Palm Deco (dark green)
- Shimmering Shores (sparkly blue)
- Ripe Guava (dark pink)
- Shells in the Sand (peachy coral)
- Splash of Teal (dark blue)
For super long lasting nails, opt for the Shellac collection that can last for over 14 days. And don’t forget to book a follow-up appointment or pickup the correct Shellac removal kit for safe nail colour removal. If you’re looking to switch colours more often, the VINYLUX colours are weekly polishes that are good for up to 7 days.
Be Fabulous by Revlon Professional
In addition to the nail colour preview for the spring season, we were invited to preview the new haircare collection from Revlon Professional. Loretta from Salon Haze in Kitsilano came by to talk about the new Be Fabulous line.
We learned that there was a 4-step in-salon process based on the assessment the Revlon Professional goes through in your first visit to the salon. Depending on what haircare improvement you’re aiming for, you may experience between 1 – 5 visits.
To go along with the in-salon process, the new at-home-care line includes a range of solutions for your haircare needs.
