We were invited to watch Nick Howard open up for Boyce Avenue at the Vogue Theatre earlier this September.
Born and raised in Brighton, England, Nick Howard is a Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter who has released four studio albums since 2008 and played over 1000 shows across the world. His music has been featured on Pretty Little Liars, Switched at Birth, The Hills, Jersey Shore, Next, True Life, Cougar Town, 90210, LA Ink, Greek, and Army Wives. He has toured with Lifehouse, Boyce Avenue, Eric Hutchinson, Tristan Prettyman and has supported Train, Gavin DeGraw, and Jack Johnson.
Coming off a busy and successful 2015, which included a headlining tour across North America and numerous shows throughout Europe in support of his 2014 album ‘Living In Stereo,’ Nick just finished recording a brand new album, ‘All or Nothing’ due out soon. Never one to sit still, he also founded the first-ever ‘Nomad Music Festival’ on June 4 in Cologne, Germany, which featured such talented artists as Nick himself, Eric Hutchinson, Chris Brenner and Michael Schulte.
I love his voice. He was really great on pandering to the crowd while moving between performing songs he wrote and covers of popular pop songs. My favourite moment was when he performed a medley of pop songs acoustically with the audience singing along.
