Upon our first night waking up in the City of Portland, Brian and I decided to meet-up before the Collabofest event for a brief walk.

We met up at the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront and walked along the river crossing the bridge toward the Science Centre. Being a Vancouverite and growing up on the wet, west coast, I admit I was getting worried about the rain as we were walking. (Lucky we had our Sock it to Me beer socks on to keep us cozy).

It was windy, and the rain was misty… and my worries about getting soaked evaporated as the sun decided to make an appearance.

Love Locks – So many ideas of engraving!

While wandering around, Brian shared about what he did on his last visit to Portland by cycling. If you’re looking for specifically a cycling themed get-away, there’s the Riding in the Rain zine for that.
