Gewurztraminer by Saxon

When I brought this bottle out to a gathering with Mari and Michael, we learned from one of their friends that we were pronouncing this bottle wrong. How do you pronounce it? I usually hear “Ge-wertz-ter-mean-errrr”… And we laughed as we attempted to roll our R’s by saying “Ge-wertz-TRA-ME-NER”.

Overall, we found this bottle of white to be:

  • Positively fruity (tasting notes include rose petals, pineapple, lemon zest, ginger and a touch of lychee)
  • Not too sweet (Off-dry)
  • Aftertaste is smooth and a little spicy

Update: Looks like Well La-Di-Da is sold out on

Well La-Di-Da by Church & State Wines

I always get a kick out of all the bottles of the Lost Inhibition lines. For a girl’s night in, it’s always fun to pick up a bottle to go along with the usual gossipy and sarcastic themes of the gatherings.

Overall, we found this bottle of white to be:

  • Smooth aftertaste
  • Fruity
  • Not too sweet, not too dry
